JAXPORT Names New Director of Marketing Development
Feb. 13, 2007 -- JAXPORT has named Robert A. Peek to the position of Director of Marketing Development. Peek moves into his new role in the Marketing department after spending 11 years in JAXPORT�s External Affairs office, where he served as the Port Authority�s Communications Director.
In his new position, Peek will work with JAXPORT�s creative team to develop and execute innovative programs to grow cargo sales through the port and assist with initiatives in support of JAXPORT�s Strategic Marketing Plan.
�Robert has consistently done an outstanding job for us,� said Rick Ferrin, JAXPORT Executive Director. �I am sure he will play a central role in our marketing efforts, as he uses his energy and knowledge of port functions to best serve our customers.�
Peek holds a master�s degree in Public Administration from the University of North Florida and a bachelor�s degree from Colorado State University. He joined JAXPORT in 1995 as a Communications Coordinator.
