JAXPORT promotes Kenyatta Lee to Senior Director of Administration June 30, 2008 -- JAXPORT today promoted Kenyatta Y. Lee to the position of Senior Director, Administration. In her new role, Lee will be responsible for employee services, corporate performance, risk management and information technology.
“Kenyatta has the proven ability and experience to oversee all of these crucial functions of our organization,” said JAXPORT Executive Director Rick Ferrin. “I am confident she will add tremendous value to my senior staff.”
Lee joined JAXPORT in 2006 as the Director of Administration. Previously she served as Senior Director of Finance and Administration for the Port of Palm Beach (POPB). During her 14 year tenure at the POPB, she managed that organization’s information technology and human resource departments and was responsible for overseeing the finance and budget functions of the port.
Lee graduated cum laude from Bethune-Cookman University with a degree in accounting. She currently serves on the Advisory Council of the Advanced Technology Center at Florida Community College.
