Foreign Trade Zone No. 64
JAXPORT's award-winning FTZ No. 64
is Florida's largest Foreign Trade Zone
STREAMLINED CUSTOMS CLEARANCE
A Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) is a secured site within the United States, but technically considered outside of U.S. Customs’ jurisdiction, allowing shippers to clear cargo as it leaves the FTZ while saving on import clearance costs.
OPERATE MORE EFFICIENTLY
Increase cash flow and save a significant amount of money on imported cargo shipments or manufacturing and distribution operations by using FTZ No. 64.
JAXPORT serves as the grantee for FTZ No. 64 and the port’s FTZ Administrator has more than 15 years of experience with FTZ processes.
The federal project to deepen the Jacksonville shipping channel to 47 feet will offer the largest container ships calling on the U.S. East Coast unobstructed access to the port’s terminals.
JAXPORT offers expanded options to Asia via the world’s largest shipping alliances: Ocean Alliance, THE Alliance and the 2M Alliance.
ROOM TO GROW
FTZ No. 64 operates under the Alternative Site Framework (ASF), which extends the zone to include eight counties and more than 5,000 square miles within Northeast Florida. There are more than 120 million square feet of distribution center and warehousing space within close proximity to the port.
The FTZ’s Alternative Site Framework allows for easy integration into the program using your company’s existing site/location and business plan.
Storage and distribution sites can be approved in 30 days or less; manufacturing and processing plants can be approved within 120 days or less.
Some of the country's best industrial land sites and existing FTZ public warehouses are available within FTZ No. 64.
