JAXPORT one of nation's fastest growing import ports

The continued double-digit growth of JAXPORT's Asian container volumes helped lift the port's import value in 2017.

Forbes contributor Ken Roberts has named the Port of Jacksonville one of the nation’s fastest growing import ports by value in 2017. The more than $2 billion increase in import value places Jacksonville’s port in the top ten in the U.S.

Roberts' import/export data company, WorldCity, posts monthly trade statistics at ustradenumbers.com. WorldCity’s research shows the Port of Jacksonville registering a $2.2 billion increase through the first 10 months of the year.
