We are proud of the work our maritime community continues to do to help the people of Puerto Rico.
Port partner Seaonus (Diversified Port Holdings) recently loaded nearly 350 power poles onto a Crowley Maritime Corporation barge at our Talleyrand Marine Terminal. The poles are being used to help rebuild the island’s power grid following Hurricane Maria.
The vessel also carried more than 80 FEMA relief containers filled and loaded by Portus at our Blount Island terminal.

A big thank you to our port partners Aqua Gulf Transport, Inc., TOTE Maritime and Trailer Bridge who worked together to deliver hurricane relief supplies to Comerio, Puerto Rico through JAXPORT last week.
The town’s Mayor, Josian Santiago, and his wife received the container. The mayor’s wife is pictured here (center) with workers who unloaded the supplies.
JAXPORT serves as the No. 1 trading partner with Puerto Rico and our port partners have been on the front lines of the relief effort following Hurricane Maria.
You can help, too! Volunteer with Aqua Gulf this Saturday, Nov. 18 starting at 8 a.m. to help pack relief supplies for shipment to the island.
