Port partner North Florida Warehouse FTZ today celebrated the grand opening of Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) No. 64’s first outdoor storage facility. JAXPORT’s FTZ helps importers save time and money through streamlined Customs clearance and other efficiencies.
The 3.7-acre facility in North Jacksonville handles a variety of cargo types including vehicles, construction equipment, oversized cargo and more.

The Blount Island Equipment/Facilities team recently completed a project that required them to pull the engine out of a crane, complete a repair and then reinstall the engine.
The project was completed in-house, saving money while reducing crane downtime—keeping cargo moving through the port safely and efficiently.
