47-FOOT DEEPWATER TERMINAL
Located 12.5 nautical miles (23.2 km) from the sea buoy, JAXPORT’s largest marine facility – Blount Island Marine Terminal – offers 7,094 linear feet (2,163m) of deepwater berths and features six super post-Panamax container cranes, three post-Panamax container cranes and one Panamax container crane.
Blount Island also features:
- 47-foot harbor depth with adjacent turning basin
- Two dedicated roll-on roll-off cargo berths and a heavy lift cargo berth with up to 2,000 pounds per square foot of load capacity.
- On-terminal rail and proximity to JAXPORT’s Dames Point intermodal facility
