Amazon bringing new fulfillment center to Jacksonville

Online retail giant Amazon is the latest household name to bring distribution operations to Northeast Florida. The company is establishing an 800,000 square-foot fulfillment center in North Jacksonville.

The new $200 million facility will be located near Interstate 295. The project will create 1,500 full-time jobs, making it the single largest jobs announcement in Jacksonville’s history.

With more than 120 million square feet of available warehouse space, Northeast Florida is home to some of the best industrial land sites in the United States.
