- JAXPORT CEO Eric Green to provide an update on port growth during 2022 State of the Port address
Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) CEO Eric Green will deliver an update on the port’s growth and plans for the future during the Propeller Club – Port of Jacksonville’s annual State of the Port address on Tuesday, March 8.
The event features an update on the port’s major growth projects, including harbor deepening through JAXPORT’s Blount Island Marine Terminal which is anticipated to be complete in June 2022.
Mary Baer, anchor of Jacksonville television station WJXT-TV, will moderate a “Why Jacksonville” panel discussion featuring JAXUSA Partnership President Aundra Wallace and leaders from global companies who have grown their logistics businesses in and around JAXPORT.
“It’s no coincidence that Jacksonville has been able to provide solutions for shippers amid supply chain chaos—it’s the result of many years of investment from our elected officials and hard work from our port partners,” said JAXPORT Board Chair Wendy Hamilton, who will introduce Green’s keynote address. “We look forward to updating the community on the exciting things happening at the port and hearing from the JAXPORT partners behind our region’s supply chain success.”
