GENERAL SUMMARY OF TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS – The Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) is soliciting bids from Qualified Vendors to provide, stock, and deliver various types of DOMESTIC WIRE ROPE for Blount Island and Talleyrand Marine Terminals on a per needed basis. Contractor must meet the mandatory requirements as listed in the specifications, where all components of the wire rope, to include steel, wire, strands, core and rope are all originally manufactured in the United States. Therefore, the purpose of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to request information about your company’s ability to provide these products exactly as specified and to obtain a pricing commitment.

DEADLINE FOR QUESTIONS: The deadline for submitting questions by e-mail to Jerrie Gunder at Jerrie.Gunder@jaxport.com or by submittal by E-Builders is MONDAY, AUGUST 12, 2019 by 9:00AM(EST). Questions will then be released by e-mail via an Addendum to all known prospective bidders registered in the E-Builders website.
