General Scope of Work:   The Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) is requesting proposals from qualified firms to furnish all materials, equipment, labor and supervision for the Upland Dredge Material Management Area Construction Phase I.  The Contractor will relocate non-building grade dredged material (fine sediments composed mainly of clays, silts, and organics) from within the Buck Island DMMA Cell B to a new sediment storage area shown on Contract Drawings, and called out as “Sediment Disposal Area 2”. The Contractor will be responsible for creating Sediment Disposal Area 2 adjacent to the existing Buck Island DMMA Cell B wall. Sediment Disposal Area 2 will be located along the outer perimeter of the existing Cell B wall, and yet within areas without direct environmental impacts, etc. in accordance with contract specifications and drawings.

Sealed bids will be received by JAXPORT up to 2:00 PM  (EST), local time, MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 21, 2020, at which time they shall be opened via “Go To Meeting” at:  https://global.gotomeeting.com/join/796108773, Access Code:  796-108-773 for UPLAND DMMA CONSTRUCTION PHASE I.

All bids must be submitted in accordance with specifications and drawings for Contract No. C-1737.

A PRE-BID CONFERENCE WILL BE HELD ON FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 4, 2020, AT 10:00 AM (EST), “Go To Meeting” at: https://global.gotomeeting.com/join/533943213 Access Code: 533-943-213.  ATTENDANCE BY A REPRESENTATIVE OF EACH PROSPECTIVE BIDDER IS ENCOURAGED.
