GENERAL SUMMARY OF SCOPE – The Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) is soliciting proposals from “Qualified Firms” to provide CONSULTANT FOR LOCAL AND STATE GOVERNMENT RELATIONS.  JAXPORT is interested in engaging the services of a qualified and experienced firm for or on behalf of the Jacksonville Port Authority with regard to Florida Legislature, Office of the Governor, Local and State Agencies. The Agreement will be for one (1) year period with four (4) additional, one (1) year renewal options at the discretion of JAXPORT.  This is an evaluated contract and will be awarded to one or two firm(s) receiving the highest number of points by proving their ability to meet both entities needs and requirements as outlined on the Evaluation Criteria.  Therefore, the purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to request information about your company’s abilities to provide these services exactly as specified and to obtain pricing commitment.

QUESTIONS DEADLINE – The deadline for submitting questions by e-mail to Jerrie Gunder at jerrie.gunder@jaxport.com or submitted through E-Builder is MONDAY, MARCH 22, 2021 at 4:00 PM (EST).  Questions will then be released by e-mail via an Addendum to all known prospective Proposers registered in the E-Builders website.

PROPOSALS DUE – before 2:00 PM (EST) on TUESDAY, APRIL 6, 2021.  Proposals and all required supplemental material listed in Article III (items to be submitted with Proposal Form) must be electronically submitted in PDF format only through E-Builder. Proposal documents submitted through Email or Fax will not be accepted or considered. Until further notice, JAXPORT is not accepting any Proposal packages submitted by Mail or Hand-Deliveries due to the current COVID-19 situation.
