General Scope of Work:   The Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) is requesting proposals from qualified firms to furnish all labor and equipment to install thirteen (13) aluminum pole- mounted TC-600 S, Radar Speed Signs or approved equal, and MUTCD R2-1 speed limit signs. Select signs, placement, and install according to U.S. Department of Transportation, and Federal Highways Administration Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), in accordance with contract specifications and drawings.  The use of a brand name is for the purpose of describing the standard of quality, performance and characteristics desired and is not intended to limit or restrict competition.

Sealed bids will be received by JAXPORT up to 2:00 PM  (EST), local time, THURSDAY, JUNE 10, 2021, at which time they shall be opened via “Go To Meeting” at:  https://global.gotomeeting.com/join/156836757, Access Code: 156-835-757 for TURNKEY FURNISH AND INSTALL RADAR SPEED SIGNS.

All bids must be submitted in accordance with specifications and drawings for Contract No. MC-1779.

A PRE-BID CONFERENCE WILL BE HELD ON THURSDAY, MAY 20, 2021, AT 10:00 AM, “Go To Meeting” at: https://global.gotomeeting.com/join/578447117, Access Code: 578-447-117.

ATTENDANCE BY A REPRESENTATIVE OF EACH PROSPECTIVE BIDDER IS ENCOURAGED.
