Located 14.2 nautical miles (25.9 km) from the sea buoy, the Dames Point Marine Terminal offers 5,002 linear feet (1,525m) of deepwater berths and features six post-Panamax container cranes and six 40-ton rubber-tired gantry cranes.
The JAXPORT Intermodal Container Transfer Facility (ICTF) at Dames Point facilitates the direct transfer of containers between vessels, trucks and trains. CSX services the ICTF with two daily trains carrying up to 200 containers each.
